🔶 International students must have more than $AU 24,505 in a savings account when applying for a student visa.
-The Australian government has adjusted the amount of money required to show when applying for a student visa. The required amount for application will be $AU 24,505, increased by 17%. – The main purpose of this amendment is to ensure that international students genuinely intend to study and will be able to support themselves without needing to work excessively part-time.
🔶 International students will no longer be able to change courses or receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) simultaneously from multiple institutions.
– The Australian government does not allow international students to switch courses or institutions while studying, but they must complete their current course before being eligible to change courses or institutions.
– International students who are enrolled in a course or hold a student visa for less than 6 months will not be able to transfer to another institution or course anymore.
❌ Unless students make a resignation and schools allow them to resign (Release COE)
🔶 The Australian government will be stricter than before with non-standard institutions.
– The Australian government will conduct inspections on institutions that do not meet the standards. This will be based on the number of rejected international students and instances of forged documents used for enrollment and visa applications. 🇦🇺
