Permanent Residence (PR) is the status of a legal resident where such a person is not a citizen of that country, but has the right to live there permanently.
Applicants wishing to apply for citizenship must have lived in Australia on a valid visa for more than four years and have been out of Australia for less than 12 months.
Applicants must be virtuous and moral. There will be several assessments to ensure the Australian Government that applicants are able to obey Australian laws.
Applicants must have a good communication background in English. and must take an Australian citizenship test. Plus, the applicants must score at least 75% on the English language test and answer all five of the Australian Values questions correctly, demonstrating their knowledge and understanding of Australian citizenship.
